Dreg’s Promise got a basic increase of damage and magazine. To curb this, its Exotic Perk range was reduced by 75%, but given an increased rate of fire to compensate.

The Universal Remote exotic shotgun has caused players a lot of headaches over its lifetime. Thorn was brought back, but had its base range reduced by a quarter. The Fabian Strategy will now automatically load a portion of the magazine on kill, with extended base range and stability. They claim that these changes will “go hand in hand with the weapon ecosystem of Rise of Iron.” In Patch 2.4.0, Bungie has revised several existing weapons, but also created new ones in order to fill gaps in gameplay.

On Thursday, Bungie released a comprehensive update to weapon tuning for Destiny in preparation for its new expansion, Rise of Iron.
